I love a pretty table. My family was never a sit down and eat at the table every night kind of family. On holidays and special family occasions though, all the pretty things came out - the china, the silver, the antique tablecloths. A pretty table triggers all those wonderful memories of being surrounding by my big crazy family, and all that wonderful food my mom, grandmother and aunt made for us!
With Thanksgiving right around the corner, I wanted to share with you some of my recent favorite table decorations.
These white pumpkin candle holders made up my centerpieces last Thanksgiving. So easy to make! Just carve out a little hole for the taper candle and cluster them together.
And these two ideas will be on my table this year! Glittered dried corn and shiny baby pumpkin place cards!
All three ideas are from Martha Stewart. You can find more specific directions on her web site.
